I never saw my husband cry until our Westie died. He was inconsolable. It's true about their hunting drive. We had a chipmunk problem under our front stoop. One day after gardening , I was headed inside with the dog and he had killed and neatly laid out the chipmunks for me. Problem solved and the rabbits took the hint too.

I have a westie but she was used for breeding so she has in a cage for 3 years of her life with pups until I rescued her but can't same to get her to play with any toy or a ball I have tried everything please help
