  1. My second service dog was a humane society rescue. Just over two years old and had spent two years in a cage at the rescues. He was going to be transfered to another state with kill shelters and I took him home as a pet to save him. Ten days later without any shared language he knocked me to the ground and layed on me protecting my head as I had a grand mal seizure. Two nights later he gently but firmly pushed my husband outta bed onto the floor. Later learned he was poisoning me. That unwanted , untrained magnificent being saved my life. My vet rehomed him to a man with cattle who adored him. I couldn't keep us safe. Went to live in my car. It's been 25+ years but I still miss him. Blue heeler.
I swear he was part dinosaur ๐Ÿ˜‚. Edit for spelling.
