  1. Bombay or black cat they are all beauties 😍😍. Trivia quiz. I would say eye issues but it’s just a guess lol

  2. Can't tell if I have a Bombay or Black cat.. We found a stray about a week ago I'm trying to figure out what type it is. It has orange/golden eyes, fully black and its paws are black, and its ears look like a bombays, but he's not super energetic, all he wants to do is cuddle all day. And he has a pretty short tail, what do you think?

  3. I love black cats! I have a black cat named Sasha he is so affectionate and beautiful. He is my baby I spoil him with lots of love 💕 play, cuddle sessions and good food and treats.

  4. I always say she is 2nd best o f the 11 I’ve had. But she owns me in her head. Awesome friend. Leave time to play. And if you are ill she will be there to comfort you if you’re feeling down.

  5. I'm still so confused if my cat is a Bombay or not LOL I adopted her when she was about 2 months old and she would actually play fetch with one certain mouse, but she could have gone through some trauma that I don't know about because she was just dropped off at the shelter, but now she is almost 14 years old and she has been more timid the last 5-7 years. There have been many people and a couple of older small dogs (none of the dogs were mine) come and go in her life, so that may have something to do with her timidness. Either way, I don't regret adopting her and I don't have kids, so she is my daughter, to me!! She is always by my side, that's my Babygirl!! Shout out to all the black cat lovers, no matter the breed!! 😻

  6. Based on this video, I think my cat is a mix between black cat and Bombay cat. Has all of the looks of a Bombay, but has a temperament of a black cat.

  7. I had two Bombay cats brother and sister and Judge the boy looked like a panther he was a bad ass cat and his sweet little sister is 24 years old today i still have her

  8. 6 years ago I had to say goodbye to my Bombay. She lived to 16, was the best cat I ever had. Loved her to pieces and still do.

  9. Have noticed my Bombay pants more than other cats. They say the shorter nose can make breathing more difficult.

  10. I have a Bombay & everything in this video confirmed it however I definitely got lucky because I got him from the shelter & he was free with a special thing they were doing for all adoptions because of another shelter called Safe Haven essentially funding for it❤

  11. Has anyone had an issue with leg issues our Bombay has a deformity in back leg it seems to bow out halfway down but it doesn't hinder her manic movements.

  12. I'm so happy to see so many comments on how many people love black cats. I love cats, some colors I prefer more than others. My baby, Bitty, just passed away an 20 1/2 years old leaving me heartbroken. So I went on Craig's list and now I have another fur friend. Bitty was a long haired tuxedo baby, but the one I have now is solid black, with the most gorgeous golden eyes. So very soft, extremely intelligent, follows me everywhere, listens, sorta acts like a dog, and doesn't meow she trills. I haven't had a female kitty in a long time, but she is so sweet. I think she was abandoned, and or someone played with her really rough. But she is learning manners super fast. A purr machine, like me to talk to her, lol, LOVES attention like no other feline I have ever seen. That is saying a lot because I was born and raised around cats and dogs, lot of them to. This little kitty, a kitten still, 7 or 8 month old, reminds me of a dog, and not a cat. Loves making those biscuits to. I'm no expert, but I would bet she is mixed with a little Bombay.

  13. im 90% sure mines a bombay but his eyes are cloudy and he has limited vision so i cant see if theyre gold or not (when he was a baby they werent but i cant remember how they looked)

  14. We rescued 2 possible Bombay kittens that had been dumped. They do have all the characteristics listed but a DNA test is only way to be sure, as we won't be breeding or selling we don't need to know.
