  1. On my 3rd Heeler. She's about to turn 7 yrs old next month. People ask me about her and I tell them she's one of the smartest and obedient dogs with work. I've been lucky having good ones. But it's like having a 3 or 4 yr old child again. lol

  2. My bluey of lead everywhere still be alert near roads and other animals they are Prey driven put lot of time in into him super smart and loven have there moments but great 🐶

  3. Can you HELP us… we rescued a Australian cattle dog 2 years ago.. we didn't realize what kind of dog he is.. we are not able to spend the time to train him.. we are in the process of moving.. he's got aggressive…we don't know what to do..can you Help us.

  4. My heeler was amazing! Was letting my 2 yr old walk her off lead at home was just amazing! My sons now 14 we are picking a new puppy up Monday

  5. i have a mini american shepard 7 months old and he is a blue merle he is soooo cute… we get "he's soooo cute" everywhere we go… i also have 2 big dogs and the male aussie is a tri red and a mutt who is basically black and white. when the puppy was like 8 weeks old I had a full adult apx 50 year old man turn into a toddler right infront of me when i had the puppy in sams club…. only thing he was not doing was jumping up and down, can i pet the puppy?.. f no he has only had 1 shot and i dont know where ur hands have been… his wife said he's crazy about dogs.. i said he's crazy ur 1/2 right.. i walked away fast..lol

  6. My dogs don't even wear collars — I am 60ish years old and had dogs my whole life — I can count on one hand the number of times all of my dogs combined have ever been on a leash. The places where I was required to do so by law or social convention — i never returned to. I don't "train" them this way — it's just how they are — how they become when they live closely with their Human. I have all kinds of different breeds — it's how you treat them that matters.

  7. I like the way he has been taught NOT to jump up on people or use the front feet to push or scratch. If you don't train THEM they will train YOU.

  8. I have bi polar 1 for 5 years have a blue heeler potty 75 25 % ratio my family has worked with k9 companion ship we got our dog for my dad she's a rescue from the shelter and is very good and super attached to us my dsd is a army veteran and I am in the process of finding another blue heeler for myself for my health issues I have a brother who raises pork here in California and looking to get a blue heeler from a pup pure bread to be a working dog but also life long partner n friend with our family ❤

  9. On my second ACD.. Now 2 years old.. still hyper reactive. If properly introduced he's very friendly, but usually scares any potential friend first. Haven't got to the E=collar yet. God help some pedestrian walking along the road or a bike rider! My guy loves to hang out the car window (Properly Tethered of course), but will bark, growl like a Killer. The Amazon delivery guy escaped an incident but was close. So we're in full military training mode..

  10. Never used it but it definitely took longer to get my red Heeler mix to be off leash. She's a rescue and had a history of abuse. She can be aggressive with other dogs to establish her dominance especially with dogs that are hyper and barky.

  11. If you said “watch “ to my Bullmastiffs they’d be looking for who they’re going to bite 😂

  12. my Heeler was off leash for 16 years , one training and one walk on lead then off lead for the rest of her life

  13. I know this post is old but I have an Australian Cattle dog mix with a Husky she is a farm working dog but I like to take her on walks when I can but she barks at strangers when walking beside me on the road (on leash) still have not figured out how to nip that behaviour in the butt
