  1. Thank you for opening people's eyes regarding the characteristics of the dog breed they're considering as a family member.
There's SO much to consider prior to making that lifetime commitment!

  2. If you’re not sure a pocket bully will always be best runner up and if you need any suggestions of who to get one from…. Me😅

  3. I don’t know if you’ve already done a video on this or not, how do you train a dog not to be aggressive over its food?

  4. I’ve got a cattle dog/lab mix from a shelter a few years ago. He’s so fun to be around! He follows me all the time, like he is safe guard! If I’m home by myself, no one gets on my porch. And he is a lovable, goofy boy.

  5. Where was this channel when I was 10 years old lol I would have loved to train my childhood dog.

  6. My neighbor has. 2 of the black and white healers they keep in the house too much…they never walk or play with them or take for a ride….but run them loose in the front yard to knock old people down…

  7. Heeler/ Cattle Dog, they are definitely a different breed of dog, and require a different breed of owner, make a note of that.

Awesome dog for an awesome owner, but no shortcuts with this one folks.

  8. Heeler are so smart and loyal! Easy trainable! Our girl is a family dog. Never worked a cow in her life, but it is from a working line. She is loyal to her people and protective. If our kids are getting a little too rough with eachother, she will put herself between them. When my hubby is tickling the kids snd she thinks he is hurting them she will be right there to make sure they are okay.

  9. In all honesty, I am weary around cattle dogs as I am around pits & rotties & other capable dogs. Ive personally heard about cattle dogs that are overly protective of their owners.

I personally knew a guy where his cattle dog threatened his own daughter by snapping at her neck when she went in for a hug.

Just as someone doesnt know how to train their bully breed, i learned to not trust people with cattle breeds unless proven otherwise.

  10. Cimarron Uruguayo, do you know them?.
    👍🇺🇾🤝🇨🇦🥩🧉🦮🐎⚖️🗽

  11. I took a 'what dog is right for you?' quiz, and number one was Australian Cattle Dog. LOL I've known a few and they are high energy. I want a low energy dog as I am older with mobility issues. Shar Pei came up as second choice, which is my favorite breed. Much quieter and lower energy.

  12. Those need lots of running, and they bity😅 , my neighbour fella keep trying to herd me so I got lots of nipping in my boots! So I don’t recommend any working lines ,unless you using this breed for work! Absolutely not friendly with small kids ,keep that in mind! This is active dog a bit like Malenua only smaller ,very very smart and they will use that for good or for bad😅

  13. Do you have any videos on the Taiwanese mountain dog? These guys are amazing.

  14. My three favorite dogs is an Australian Shepherd a Cocker Spaniel and a Australian Cattle Dog mainly because all these breeds are amazing and not only that they all take a certain amount of care and responsibility but I think I can handle it and not only that all the dogs in this picture are very trained except for the one in the middle which is a cocker spaniel she is not trying this great she's an if student but we are trying to work on it

  15. I feel for the family that gets an ACD based on episodes of 'Bluey' only to find themselves bullied and pushed around in their own home 😂

  16. The different between an Australian Cattle Dog and for example a Belgian Malinois is that my cattle dog doesn’t want to run for 3-4 hours. It gets bored and only wants to herd people or play fetch for hours on end. Oh, and it’s so neurotic and will just sit outside still starting at squirrels on the power lines waiting for them to come down. Crazy dogs
