I love my rottie! Didn't get to experience/enjoy the breed until I was 42. I'll never live without one again!!! My boy is so overprotective of me. Not so much with his daddy, he's the spare lol. 😊
My late grandfather had a rottie, she jumped up onto the table scaring him when I was just a newborn visiting for the first time. I was Vixen’s puppy and no one could tell her otherwise.
My first rottie was around 30 yrs ago when my son brought one home and said he needed to have a new home. I was not really fond of dogs and said "I don't want no damn dog!" well this Rottie (she became Jessie) went into my bedroom, took a dump and…the rest is history. I haven't been without one since! I just had to let my 12 y/o go, healthy all her life til one day she threw up and she was gone in 4 weeks-lymphoma. So now I have my first male Rotttie, Buddy who is 7 mos old – can't wait til he 'grows up' (if rotties ever do grow up LOL)
