I have 2 Tervueren, male and female, they are just awesome in all way.
I got the normal coat Belgian shepherd a male and a female from the same litter. I have to say growing up with German shepherds I will always have a German Shepherd that I prefer the Belgian shepherds. My female talks a lot does anyone else on your know there's talking and awful lot. They are very intelligent. they are very good at protection mine know their job is once I leave my property in their job is to protect it. And according to my neighbors they do it very well.

Longevity my first Belgian lived 15 and 1/2 years . We loved him so much we got a second he is three and a half. Wonderful companions

Al belgian shepherd are named after city's. A Mali comes from the city Mechelen (in French its Mali)
Groenendaler comes from city Groenendal. (flamish for green valley) Tervuren end laken also city.
AL these city's are in a radius of 30 km from Brussels.

My favourite is the Groenendael.
We adopted a 6 year old Groen bitch 4 years ago; she is amazingly intelligent, and very family oriented – she knows if someone isn't present and waits by the door until they come back. When all of the family are present, she rounds us up until she's happy that we're all where we should be!

My 7month old Rocky I was told and see pictures of dad and mum, dad long haired Belgian shepherd, mum short haired Belgian Malinois but he looks like Belgian Malinois but slightly different face his mum looked like typical, so his dad im wondering if he was cross with German shepherd or somthinking else but, my boy does have gsd look to his face, good looking boy, very loveing and protective gymnasts lol
I have a Belgium Tervuren. We got him to train for Search and Rescue . Very intelligent dog, sticks by close. Very active dog that needs a job and attention. Don't neglect these dogs.

We have two almost five months old malinois and they are already a menace 😂 we don't know how to keep them both under control. They obviously need a lot of experienced training. But we love them nonetheless. They are always jumping on us biting our clothes (out of excitement not aggression.. I hope), it was fine when they were little, but now they're getting bigger and stronger everyday and it's starting to become annoying, they could knock someone down 😅
