I need help! 😭 I recently brought home a border collie puppy, she’s outside while I’m at work for 6 hours, 5 days a week. She is crate trained and sleeps there at night. I want her to spend time with me inside my home on weekends, and during the evening/morning when I’m not at work.
I’ve tried positive reinforcement and adding a command when she goes potty outside, I’ve used an enzyme cleaner to clean every area she’s ever peed on inside, I immediately take her outside and wait for her to go potty if I see her sniffing/squatting down…. But nothing is working.
She pees almost immediately when she comes inside, I scold her and take her outside and reward when she finishes outside. She comes back in, and 9/10 times she bolts to my bed, and pees there. She doesn’t pee in her crate. I feel like nothing I do is working, she’s extremely smart and knows 10+ commands but I’m feeling defeated and my significant other is getting irritated. What can I do?
Two of my dogs fight, one time even drew blood. The one is a spayed 3 year old golden retriever and the other is a 9 month old German mix. They start by “playing” then break out into a full on fight. Always have to keep an eye on them. I’m running out of ideas.

So happy to hear that Jim Hodges is putting out a Biothane Martingale style collar. Many of we Aussies don't call blue nor red heelers "cattle dogs" because we have other breeds that work with cattle & sheep too, eg kelpies. Heelers can be biters, they can nip people's heels & I've heard that's why they have the name they do, idk if it's true though. Ive known a few blue (& one red heeler) heelers in my life that if someone entered their owner's yard the heeler wouldn't let them leave, haha!
