Love the Millie!!! She isn't lazy, she is a princess and Junior, bless him, is her minion!!! My husband love your sweet babies appreciate you sharing their adventures!! ❤from the US
Hah, this stirred a great memory. Back in the late 80s we got our first Basset, Homer. My wife who was an avid runner was slowly working him up to run with her. On the day she finally got him on the whole run, he quit about a half mile from her turn around point. No one had cell phones then so she just had to carry him 2 miles home. He was relegated to just going around the block with mom after that. Sadly, lost them both in 2005. Homer was 16.
This illustrates a Basset fact. If they get tired during a walk and decide to lay down you either have to sit there and wait for them to rest or carry them. They WILL NOT walk until they're ready…or you can carry them. True of the breed overall. I had one so I know.

She is so cute
Like a large and shifting bag of potatoes
Lol, maybe you be start taking a buggy with you. I know how heavy they can be. ❤
Absolute chungus. 😂
Poor Millie is completely tuckered. And poor Jr., who I’m sure became tuckered himself!
Beautiful tired girl! How old’s Miss Millie these days? (Is she your oldest)
Aww. A Basset's favorite kind of "walk."
Thanks for sharing this! Really made my day.
Luckily, her human brother is strong and kind!
He's already kept it up longer than I could. Not known as a purse pooch, the Basset. 😊
Tired, lazy, AND a Basset hound! Triple threat 😂
Millie wants a wagon! Love the closeup!
Millie needs a jetpack to bring her around the park but Junior will do in the meantime.
Tell me you spoil your Basset without telling me you spoil your Basset. ❤❤❤
The universe is in proper order. Humans serve bassets.
Awwww ❤ hate to say this but moo 14 now and struggling. Got to face reality that she won’t be here for ever. Heartbreaking 😢
Millie moo is just lush ❤
Millie will let junior do anything ❤ she adores him and it’s plain to see ❤

No, bassets are not light weights. Can't carry them for long.

Like hauling a sack of oats
She’s incredibly beautiful! Hugs and kisses ❤
The animal is exhausted.
She seems to be enjoying her ride.
Sweet baby 💙💜🩷🩵💚❤️🐾
Have a two year old basset that's the same way. When she is done walking she's done. She's 83 pounds
You’ve found your purpose!
Oh my word that is too adorable.
