A distinguished three-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair from Waynesville, NC, whose presence is as grand as his name! Draped in a magnificent orange coat, Chonk is the living, breathing embodiment of everyone’s favorite lasagna-loving cartoon cat—minus the Monday grumbles (though he certainly wouldn’t mind a few extra snacks!).

At a whopping 28 pounds of pure feline royalty, Chonk is an expert in the fine art of lounging. His favorite pastimes include sprawling out in the most regal of poses, rubbing his head on furniture like a connoisseur of fine textures, and treating every mealtime like a five-star dining experience. And when he’s not indulging in his favorite activities, he’s melting hearts with his trademark “arms crossed” stance and adorably exaggerated leg poses—a true master of dramatic flair!

Though he may start off a bit timid in new environments, Chonk’s trust is easily won over with a reliable food schedule and a peaceful atmosphere. Once he feels safe, he transforms into a purring powerhouse, showering his chosen human with cuddles and unwavering companionship. His deep, rolling purr has been described as nothing short of infectious, a soothing soundtrack to any quiet evening.

Chonk is looking for a calm, pet-free, and kid-free home where he can continue his reign as the ultimate lounging king!
