  1. Amazing dogs … they have guts most people don't packaged in a small robust frame. The personalities of these dogs is also a major credit to the breed. Proud to be an Aussie and proud to be an owner.

  2. 1. Get an armored vault jumpsuit
    2. Get an Austrailian cattle dog
    3. Walk down an abandoned road with it

  3. Its true they are very protective my friends and I have had ours for only two days and it defended us from a loose pit bull

  4. I've always been drawn to Rottweilers and Collies, but now my crossbreed is 13 years old and his heavy body (he's shepherd and rottie) is now taking its toll…bad him, stiff joints, not to mention both the breeds in him have all sorts of issues (crossbred dogs might be healthier, but not healthy by default…).

So, I'm starting to lean towards the ACD…they're tough, robust, healthy, most breeders don't breed for looks and they're loyal and smart.

  5. you would think animal planet would get it right!!
There is no collie or dalmation in the australian cattle dog.. They started with the scottish blue mearle and crossed them with the dingo. That is why they are either blue (the blue mearle) or red (the dingo).. Dingo's can not bark, so the red ones can have a really high pitch bark.. Easy to train, but need a lot of mental and physical exercise or the will run riot… But i would never have anything else..
