What do you think about Staffies being in a Dog Daycare setting? I'm a bit worried, since I know if these dogs aren't properly socialized can get aggressive towards other dogs. At the daycare I work, there's a 4 month staffy that just started going there. He is really high energy, apparently owner is and will take him to extra training classes. But he has a lot to learn since he's very young , he still hasn't learned boundaries. Do you think even with all that , it's ok for staffies to join a dog daycare at least once a week?
I have 5 Pitbulls and 3 chihuahua and they all get along very well and they are very protective over my grandkids
they demand to be loved and thats why i love them.
i had a staffy puppy in late 1999 & in 2001 she ran away & in 2002 she found herself back to us with surprised litters on the way a few months after she gave birth she ran away but never returned
They need more exercise than that the need at least 3/4 hours in the first 7/8 years of life if you cannot do that don get one. Especially a male. 🇬🇧👍
Your right you have to have a tough skin I've lots of problems with small dog owners even though he doesn't bother them and is on a leash. And if you cannot handle dirty looks do not get a staffy the public either love them or hate them there is no in between. 🇬🇧👍
I owned a staffy for 17 years I have never had anyone say anything negative about her, but I do live in Australia where they one of the most common breeds here
Yeah staffies don't get personal space. I can't even take 2 steps across the room without my boy getting up and following me. As for using the lavatory 🤣🤣 Wouldn't have it any other way though but it can take some getting used to for some people.
I love SBT, they are a superb all round pet and guard dog, they are naturally brilliant with children and other pets, I would happily have a house full of them
I had a mixed staffy for 18 years, now the dog passed and I miss her everyday, what a beautiful experience… And everything you said is so true she was an external part of our body… That was hilarious including when she was very old.
It's been a lot of work but my girl is slowly ingratiating herself with the locals. Most days I'll have kids asking to smooth my dog, she loves it and is a fantastic ambassador for the breed. She went and rescued my daughter when she went too far out on the beach today, herded her back, couldn't be prouder.
It is pronounced staffordSHEER not shire. All English place names ending in shire are pronounced SHEER.
I had a staffie in an apartment- albeit she was elderly and it was ground-floor with a wraparound courtyard.,
Couldn’t have any other breed after having my Staffy girl. She died last year at the age of 13, and left a Staffy shaped hole in my heart! I’ve now got a lovely senior Staffy boy from a local rescue, so it’s back to being stared at while I eat and accompanied bathroom trips!
Thats strange about bad comments from other people on the street.. I have exactly opposite experience with my pitbull, lots of people just stops for peting the dog and telling me that she is great! ❤️
If you don't like energetic, playful, loyal, good natured dogs with minimal health issues then don't get a Staffy. Buy a useless mutt instead.

My Staffy is a beautiful somewhat crazy dog. But she’s still young just over 2 years and she’s smart and she listens. This breed isn’t for an inexperienced owner. They need training and socialisation but no more than any other breed.

I've had 3 Staffiers among other dogs and i can honestly say the Steffie is a brilliant loving dog, they are the most loving dog for humans and children .

I've a blue staff here in the UK , and people do cross the road when they see her, but she's the softest thing in the world , and yes, she follows me everywhere
i love all theese traits of the staffies, i love to have my staffyboy judas close all the time, his affection is magical and thats a bond you cant have with people. and i love his silly random outburst. his most enjoyable activity is to chase snowballs 🤗

I got Marley about 2 and a half years ago. He is a Staffy cross boxer. What a beautiful boy he is. My best friend. I got a tattoo of his name on my arm as I love him so much. All these things talked about in the video are so true as you have to have enormously huge amounts of time to cater for them. Worth every minute.
