  1. Yep you’ve described my standard poodle. Theyre alike I tell you no one believes me 😂

  2. Here is one to add to your list. If you think putting your hands in your pockets will deter the dog from being petted on the head… Oh no! The smart dobbie will nudge your hand out of the pocket and right on their head!!! So funny, my Dobie always did that to my brother in law. LMAO

  3. My god is the crying while separated true 😂 i try my best to be with my boy as often as possible, but the times im away from him he CRIES like a baby 😂😭

  4. I’ve had one years ago. I like the fact that they’ll groom themselves more than a cat would and then they’ll come over and groom you. Of course the little nibbles or pinchy bites that most of the time feel like tickles. The look they make when you itch their ears and you hit the right spot and they’ll let you know to keep going.

  5. My Doberman watched over me when I had covid. He stayed side by side. I do believe he is the reason I made it through.

  6. All those things you have just mentioned are true to my Dobermans too. No matter where I am they are too. Even tried sneeking out of the house when they are fast asleep but with in minutes they find me and lie down next to me. Bert South Africa.

  7. Number 10 was very handy when my daughter wouldn't get out of bed for school. Cue dobermann and she was up straight away!

  8. If only I had the money, the time and the right attitude from my wife, I would buy a whole gang of these doggos and father them all day long.

  9. If I’m feeling down, mine throw’s toys in the air in front of me to make me laugh!

  10. My 7 dobbies were the biggest lap dogs I ever knew. Sometimes, the ass on the sofa with the front legs on the ground.

  11. I was telling my fiancé how much I miss my Doberman that I had in college. Yesterday he told me that he’s giving me a Doberman puppy as a wedding gift!!! He’s so sweet and I’m so looking forward to having a Doberman again!!!

I love how these dogs are so focused on their owner and are so interactive. They’re very perceptive and in tune with your moods.

  12. I planned to get a Doberman if I had bought a house and had loads of free time. I don't think thats going to happen.

  13. Dobies are really overgrown lap dogs. I've seen all these behaviors with the seven I've shared my home with.

  14. German Shepherd Dogs also exhibit a lot of the same behaviors. Especially following one to the bathroom.

  15. I had a Doberman / German Shepherd mix. My daughter named her Sizzle because of her black fur.
She was the smartest and sweetest dog that I have ever met. She weighed about 85 pounds and could smile and laugh.

We had gone to a ball game or somewhere and the dog and my daughter had a couple hotdogs. They were both in the backseat of my Jeep and my daughter was telling some story and was using hand gestures. Sizzle was tracking the waved hot dog and reached over it bit it off just above my daughter's hand. When my daughter started to take another bite she said "hey" and glared at Sizzle, and the dog was so cute, she just kinda shrugged her shoulders in a "Ya shouldn't waved it in front of my face". It was hilarious.

  17. My husband and I lived with Dobermans for thirty years. We always had two at the same time, a male and a bitch. They truly are wonderful dogs, and I'm glad we were given the opportunity to have them in our life for such a long time.

  18. Might sound weird but I love watching dobermans back legs when they walk. They're so cute because they're kind of bow legged haha.

  19. To my future Doberman 🐕 I love you and you’ll become my best buddy who I’ll always protect. ❤️

  20. Thank you for this video. We just adopted a blind Doberman mix. Born with no eyes he was to be put down as being “unadoptable.” Well we adopted him and so happy we did. He does most everything you described in this video. We liked and subscribed to your channel to learn more about these incredible dogs. 💕

  21. Who knows of a good reputable breeder? I’m in love with this breed but I’m worried about the poor breeding we see in the US.

  22. All the six Dobermans I have had the last forty years have exhibited these behaviors. Spot on. Thank you.

  23. Of all the dogs I have had in 61 years the Doberman is the most intelligent and easy to train. They house break in 3 days with a hanging door bell. They ring it with their noses to go out. They teach puppies to ring the bell as well.

  24. My Doberman has helped me so much with my PTSD and anxiety because he always switched on and paying attention. He even helps with my sleep issues. Biggest blessing I've ever had

  25. My girl did a lot of those things and I miss it all so much. She also used to steal loaves of bread, hotdog rolls, hamburger buns, off the counter and take them to the couch and sleep on them. She never tore the bags open or damaged them, she just slept on them and flattened the heck out of them. She also “smiled” when she got nervous or she knew she did something naughty. I miss her a lot❤

  26. My boy Diesel had been gone 2 years and I miss him every single day. The head check was him straight on, never had a bond with any of my others like with him, he was just perfect. I miss the infamous doberlean and his forehead wrinkling when we would "talk". I watch your channel to help with missing him, so thanks so very much for all of your wonderful videos.

  27. Are dobermans the most affected by separation anxiety ? Some trainers seem to think so and do not want to recommend them for working people?

  28. 8 pm my boy tells me it's time for bed , and it's time to go under the covers , lol take off all your dors in the house especially the bathroom doors, they just want to love you day and night personal space is out the window with a Doberman

  29. My rescue dobe presented me with a dead ratcthe first day I had him. Inhad bought puppies from a reputable breeder befire that
