Hes a mutt kaizen sorry not purebred
good to see you mention getting his mind going and the nipping. Cattle dogs are great active dogs
How did you even get an Australian dog in the first place??
Yes they nip because they are used to rounding up sheep or cows.
Very informative.
I have one of these dog there really cute
We didn't even know what aster was when we got her haha , she is a huge commitment your right. You speak truth.
Everyone who meets my blue Heeler says to me
“ man…. I don’t know how you live with that…”
He’s HELL on Wheels but I love him so much lol
Did you find any training programs are more effective than others. Ours is 8 weeks.
You reference to dog as IT… I rest my case.
Ok yes I agree but all of the Heelers I’ve had has never nipped anybody and the only one that nipped was my dog when she was bored and I wasn’t paying attention that she wanted to play but it honestly was a small nip and didn’t even hurt
I can relate to you so much. My dogs get all their needs met in the morning, walked, etc before I even eat or brush my teeth or hair. You do you. You rock.
Nice work. You're doing all the right things and he'll be your mate for life.
What kind of jobs do you have for him to do?
my mutt is 20% cattle dog she has the mask and coat texture and she loves nipping our puppie's ankles while playing
Lovin' my blue heeler!
How do you put him to work?
Like what do you do to have him work?
That looks like my dog
My almost 1 yr old male blue. Has these whineing fits. He will go under my bed. Which is his safe spot. And hell whine and winge for 30 mins
this is what needs doing not help trainning some times just making sure people think b 4 going out getting dogs make erm relise what to expect from breeds dogs in general
Static—THE most ironic name for a heeler 😂❤
Great nipping note. Buyers beware they’re love bites
Best breed ever❤ my boy loves hiking and long walks and he loves sniffing and use a lot of energy on that and gets stimulated😊
Number 1, dont live in town.
