{"id":813253,"date":"2022-04-11T07:37:04","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T07:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/news\/813253\/"},"modified":"2022-04-11T07:37:04","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T07:37:04","slug":"the-day-when-19-years-old-yuki-ishikawa-shocked-the-volleyball-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/news\/813253\/","title":{"rendered":"The Day When 19 Years Old Yuki Ishikawa Shocked the Volleyball World !!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  width=\"580\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b4WEGx3l5Kw\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe Day When 19 Years Old Yuki Ishikawa Shocked the Volleyball World !!!<br \/>\nY\u016bki Ishikawa (\u77f3\u5ddd\u7950\u5e0c, Ishikawa Y\u016bki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.<\/p>\n<p>Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan.<br \/>\nCurrently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>Ishikawa was named &#8220;Best Outside Spiker&#8221; award at the FIVB World Cup (2015, 2019), Asian Championship (2017, 2019, 2021), as well as &#8220;Most Valuable Player&#8221; award at the Asian Championship (2017).<\/p>\n<p>As of April 2021, Ishikawa is the captain of the Japan men&#8217;s national volleyball team, and plays as an outside hitter. He currently plays in the Italian Volleyball League (7th consecutive seasons) for Allianz Milano.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2014\u20132015 season, Ishikawa played for the Italian team Parmareggio Modena about 3 months after the end of the All Japan Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship.[6] According to an official of the Japan Association, he was the first student to challenge an overseas league through university (He was the first university freshman to play volleyball in the Italian Volleyball League).[7] In the 2015\u20132016 season, he returned to Japan to continue playing for Chuo University&#8217;s club.
