Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP \u2013 Argentina GP Preview<\/p>\n
The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team has arrived at Argentina\u2019s Aut\u00f3dromo Termas de R\u00edo Hondo with their YZR-M1 machines, ready for Round 2 of the season. After a challenging Thai GP, Fabio Quartararo and \u00c1lex Rins are determined to fight back at the Argentina GP.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Focused on Redemption<\/p>\n
Quartararo returns to Termas for the first time since 2023. With three previous premier-class races at this circuit, he secured 8th place in both 2019 and 2022 and 7th in 2023. In the sprint race, he finished 9th. Currently ranked 13th, \u201cEl Diablo\u201d is aiming to score valuable points and climb the standings this weekend.<\/p>\n
Rins is chasing his first points of the 2025 season. He has five previous MotoGP races at Termas under his belt, including podium finishes in 2018 and 2022\u2014his first-ever premier-class podium came here in 2018. While the 2025 race is expected to start under low-grip conditions, Rins remains hopeful that track conditions will improve as the weekend progresses.<\/p>\n
The Stage: Termas de R\u00edo Honda<\/p>\n
The 4.8 km circuit debuted on the MotoGP calendar in 2014. Although a fire destroyed much of the paddock in February 2021, it has since been rebuilt. The layout features five left corners, nine right corners, and a 1,076-meter-long straight, offering plenty of thrilling overtaking opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re happy to be back at Termas. We have many great memories here, and Argentina always offers an enthusiastic fan base. We aim to deliver an exciting show.<\/p>\n
Friday will be the toughest day due to \u2018green\u2019 track conditions, but historically, this circuit has been quite favorable for us. If the conditions improve, we can hope for a positive result.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fabio Quartararo<\/p>\n
“The Thai GP was tough, especially with the extreme heat on race day, but we learned a lot. Now, my focus is on the Argentina GP. It’s been a while since I raced here, so I think the local fans will be excited to welcome MotoGP back.<\/p>\n
It hasn\u2019t been an easy track for me in the past, but I\u2019ll give my best to achieve a strong result.”<\/p>\n
\u00c1lex Rins<\/p>\n
“Yamaha has thoroughly analyzed the data from the Thai GP, and we are well-prepared for Argentina. Managing grip will be crucial on Friday, but we expect the conditions to improve as the weekend progresses.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll work hard both on and off the track to determine where we stand and continue striving for improvement. That\u2019s our constant goal.”<\/p>\n
