After the cancellation of the 2024 event, the MotoGP World Championship returns to South America in Argentina. Honda HRC Castrol aims to make progress at the Termas de R\u00edo Hondo Circuit. Coming off the round in Thailand, the team arrives in Argentina for the continent\u2019s only Grand Prix. While the factory team has experienced both memorable highs and challenging lows at this circuit, 2025 marks a fresh start.<\/p>\n

Marini Aiming for Steady Progress<\/p>\n

Luca Marini, who achieved a career-best result in Thailand, looks to maintain his momentum in Argentina. His focus on consistent riding and data collection, while avoiding crashes and mistakes, has proven effective. He believes that even slight improvements in qualifying could lead to significant results.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a very good weekend in Thailand, and I\u2019m optimistic that we can continue this trend in Argentina. During the off-season, we worked hard with the team to establish a solid foundation for the bike, so we should be well-prepared for the first sessions. In 2023, I achieved my first sprint podium here, and I\u2019m aiming for another positive result this weekend. After Argentina, we\u2019ll head to Brazil for the first time to test a new circuit scheduled for next year\u2019s race. I\u2019m really looking forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mir Determined for Redemption<\/p>\n

Despite showing strong pace at the Thai GP, Joan Mir crashed during the race, missing out on results. In Argentina, he\u2019s determined to secure consistent points and turn his frustration into motivation. Having previously secured strong finishes here in Moto2, it\u2019s a circuit where he feels confident.<\/p>\n

“There were many positive aspects of our performance in Thailand. In Argentina, it’s important to secure points and deliver results. Although we haven\u2019t conducted tests here, we usually have a strong base, and I believe we can be competitive from the first day. It’s a circuit where I’ve achieved good results in the past, so I’m confident we can have a solid weekend.”<\/p>\n
