\n\/MONTSAME\/.\u00a0At the invitation of Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve,\u00a0Mongolia’s Speaker of the Great State Khural (Parlaiment), a delegation led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the New Zealand Parliament, Gerry Brownlee, arrived in Mongolia for an official visit on August 31, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The delegation was welcomed by Deputy
\nSpeaker of Parliament Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar, Ambassador of Mongolia to New Zealand, Davaasuren Damdinsuren, the
\nChairman of the Mongolian-New Zealand Parliamentary Group, Erdenebold Sukhbaatar,
\nand other government officials.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, Speaker Amarbayasgalan, and the Speaker Brownlee, are scheduled to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing institutional ties
\nbetween the two countries.<\/p>\n

This visit marks the first
\nofficial visit to Mongolia by the speaker of New Zealand. <\/p>\n

Mongolia and New Zealand established
\ndiplomatic relations in 1975, and 2025 commemorates the 50th
\nanniversary of bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n
