\n2025 \/MONTSAME\/.\u00a0Director of the Special Center for Social Protection under the Governor of
\nthe Capital City, Sh. Munkhtsetseg, and President of the \u201cCenter for the Movement
\nto Protect the Han River\u201d NGO from the Republic of Korea, Nam Kyung Wan, signed
\na Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the initiative of the President of the
\n\u201cCenter for the Movement to Protect the Han River\u201d NGO and representative of
\nNamyangju City in the Republic of Korea, Nam Kyung Wan, the Governor\u2019s Office of Namyangju City sent a
\nproposal to the Office of the Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia,
\noffering a donation to Ulaanbaatar city and to expand cooperation by
\nestablishing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Special Center for Social
\nProtection in Mongolia, which provides services to vulnerable social groups and
\nhomeless citizens.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Within the Memorandum, the two sides agreed to
\ncooperate in providing support to the education and protection of citizens
\nserved at the Special Center for Social Protection, preserving the environment,
\nplanting trees to reduce desertification, enhancing reforestation and gardening,
\nvoluntary general cleaning, and implementing a bilateral cultural and
\nexperience exchange program.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Additionally, a team
\nof 19 officials from the \u201cCenter for the Movement to Protect the Han River\u201d
\nvisited and got acquainted with the operations at the Training and Development
\nComplex, an extension of the Special Center for Social Protection, on June 29-July
\n3, 2025.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Since the cities of Ulaanbaatar and Namyangju
\nestablished friendly relations in 1998, the two cities have been continuously expanding
\ncooperation in the fields of education, culture, arts, and agriculture.<\/p>\n
