Ulaanbaatar, April 17, 2025 \/MONTSAME\/. Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia Corinne Pereira da Silva on April 16, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the meeting, Chairman Amarbayasgalan emphasized that developing mutually beneficial cooperation with France, Mongolia\u2019s \u201cthird neighbor\u201d and a trusted partner in Europe, is a key priority of Mongolia\u2019s foreign policy. The Chairman of the State Great Khural expressed Mongolia\u2019s aspiration to elevate bilateral relations to a strategic partnership, building upon the momentum of expanding cooperation in recent years and grounded in mutual trust and shared values.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Corinne Pereira da Silva highlighted the significant role of parliamentary friendship groups in further enhancing the bilateral relationship based on shared values. Ambassador Corinne Pereira da Silva expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries would continue to expand actively. The Ambassador also noted the ongoing collaboration in various sectors, including major economic projects, civil security, urban development, public transportation, and agriculture.<\/p>\n
