今年は暖冬で、河津桜も１週間くらい早く満開を迎えました。満開と共に天気がくずれ、なかなか撮影のチャンスがありませんでしたが、雨上がりの2月17日に今年も撮影に出かけました。待ったかいがあり、快晴の青い空にピンクの河津桜が映えて綺麗でした。前日の風雨でやや花びらが散り、また葉も出てきた木も有りましたが、全体的にはまだまだ見頃でした。この日は風が強く、カメラが３脚共々揺れるので撮影が大変でした。桜まつりは、3月10日迄ですが、今年は早く出かけられた方が良いでしょう。
Beautiful scenes of Kawazu Cherry Blossoms Festival at Kawazu-Cho in south Izu was shot on 17th February 2020. This cherry tree called Kawazu-sakura is a little bit different species from usual cherry trees called Somei-Yoshino. The color is darker pink and changes colors reflecting sunshine. Kawazu-sakura’s period of blooming last longer, and start blooming much earlier than Somei-Yoshino. So that we can enjoy it for about a month from late February. The Kawazu Cherry Blossoms Festival is held from February 10th to March 10th every year at Kawazu-Cho in south Izu. Please enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom.
