氏に関する米司法省の文書によると、ドイツ銀行(DBKGn.DE), opens new tabは２０１８年終盤に同氏との関係を終了すると伝えた後も、同氏へのサービス提供を継続し、１９年７月の逮捕後にようやく全口座を閉鎖した。

関係を断つと伝えた後もドイツ銀が同氏に提供したサービスには、欧州旅行前の１９年４月９日に「高額紙幣」で現金５万ユーロ（５万９３００ドル）というオーダーを迅速に手配したことが含まれている。

ロイターが文書を精査したところ、１９年５月３日時点でエプスタイン氏はドイツ銀に少なくとも９口座を保有し、残高は合計１７７万６６８０ドルに達していた。

ドイツ銀は声明で「２０年に表明した通り、１３年にエプスタイン氏を顧客として受け入れた過ちと、当行のプロセスの不備を認める。われわれはエプスタイン氏との関係について深く後悔していることを繰り返し表明してきた」と述べた。
