    I remember hearing about the Tsunami , terrible tragedy then a movie came out called THE IMPOSSIBLE , l cry every time l watch it, Naomi Watts was great in it, but it was the oldest son in the movie that touched my heart, l forgot his name. I think the actor was Tom Holland, he was younger then.😢

    Looks like resort which is only colossal waste didn’t have to be there in the first place. When a tsunami can tear it all down in seconds there’s nothing to mourn about the species wanted to build there it comes with the territory

    This tsunami was terrible. So was the terrible hurricane that affected North Carolina and Tennessee. Why aren't you covering the devastation and how many don't even have homes to live in yet?

    I think about Petra and Simon a lot. I also think about Nate Berkus and Fernando. My heart broke for Petra and Nate losing their partners and the trauma they endured.

    I met Petra after this happened. What she doesn’t talk about is what she ‘connected’ with during her ordeal. She has never talked about it in public. It saved her life, it is what got her out of the hospital after two months when they told her it would be 2 years before she walked. GMA, ask her about Master 8:42 Dang and Viet. That is the story.

    This has literally just happened recently in our own country with the hurricane and you report nothing on it. There are still people missing.

    Just so many souls, I remember just be paralyzed watching this for weeks as a 12 yr old in 2004.

    Visited Thailand last year and specifically stayed in an area previously devastated that’s all I could think about visiting the beaches.

    Patong Beach, Phuket Thailand. My Naval ship the USS Tarawa dropped anchor in this bay twice in 2000 on the outgoing and return legs of our westpac cruise. The beauty of this region could take your breath away. I know I probably would never have the financial means to return to this paradise but always held it in fond memory as something that most people would never get to experience. It was to my surprise and dismay that it was the very beaches I had visited and laid on, mine you that were directly hit by the waves of the tsunami. RIP and God bless all of those who were affected and lost by this tragedy.
