He is revived after the second universal reset, Irene/Jolyne are revived and live in a universe where Pucci doesn't exist, as his soul was erased in new universe, the second reset back to the old universe brought back all those who died and they lived lives without pucci's interference, meaning, Jotaro was able to be there for Jolyne growing up instead of dealing with Pucci's thugs his whole life.
Fate rewarded the Joestars with good because they were good.

Jotaro tried to stop Pucci and save Jolyene… And in the end, he failed at both. But, honestly, it's what makes him human. Imagine having to choose between stopping the man who threatens to kill off your daughter and her new friends, or saving said daughter when stopping the man would ensure that she died, its not an easy decision to make. Sure, if Jotaro went after Pucci, that'd be reset avoided, but he would've lost his daughter forever, and considering Jotaro DOES care for her (unlike the memes would make you believe), it'd be a hard blow. Let's say she does get revived by the end: It wouldn't be Joleyne. It'd be Irene. And Jotaro would know that if he didn't die. Jotaro did what most parents would do in that situation, and that's saving their child. Which makes it hurt more, knowing that he failed in doing that because of Pucci.
