  1. Obviously, Aimi has enormous talent, and with any luck, a very bright future. I do suggest she study the playing of Piotr Anderszewski, who happens to have a great recording out of this piece. He is a true inheritor of Richter and Gould, combining the best of both in his own complete fashion. Aimi sounds like she is headed in a similar direction.

  2. she's got a lot of talent technically!!No doubt but if she's love play piano i think in future she can becoming a great pianist!!!

  4. Aimi, that was impeccable. Johann Sebastian Bach would be so proud of you performing his works so flawlessly.

  5. Her French suite No.5 is so graceful and emotional. Especially, the last Gigue has really enchanted me. Although I'm fond of Bach's keyboard tunes by Glenn Gould,  she seems that she is searching another way for approaching J.S Bach's keyboard works. Of course, I admit it. And I'm expecting her growth.

  6. I hope she matures in her playing by not rushing her playing so erratically. She should learn pace and balance with her skill.

  7. wow!!! ang galing ng batang ito!! she is young yet very good! it's just that the video is not in high quality

  8. There is a fire in her playing that even the great masters of of J.S. Bach would envy – how amazing!

  9. Although she is (was) a child, one immediately notices that she feels the nature of Bach´s music.

Same with Chopin what I heard some minutes ago…

Great to see that such instinctive talent exists. This girl was a true musician even at that age… I guess one is born or not born as musician. 🙂

  10. Aimi you are a beautiful soul and a world treasure. I've never hear this played so beautifully. Thank you.

  12. I love the gigue. Seems like a light little tune at first, but as you listen, you find there's more and more going on, deeper and deeper, as the voices chase each other around, trading licks and rhythms, with hints of fugue structures. I like Aimi's straight-ahead approach. It creates a sort of inexorable momentum, counterpoint to the lightness of the tune. Bach = true genius.
