My most rewatchable movie of 2022
Scenes inspired by real life piloting…. pilot(s) used for inspiration were subsequently assaulted, humiliated, and falsely locked into a mental institution as a thank you.
First, it was Goose. Years later, his son Rooster.
Twice would be too much for Mav to handle that.

此片誤點甚多，1.有關轟炸橋段抄自六七十年代六三三敢死隊，在星球大戰又再現一次，真是橋不怕舊。
2.起初說到路程如何艱辛，且要克服超極限的10G，似乎祇有主角做到。但在實際行動中，三僚機也可以做到且一樣克服10G，就有點奇怪。

The second best moment they made like 3 things that were a problem at the beginning of topgun 1 or call backs I think
It is absolutely unacceptable that Maverick was not promoted to Admiral in the movie. My dismay was palpable as the credits started rolling and this did not occur; IDGAF how many rank-jumps Captain to Admiral is.

This is great, but starting at the beginning of the scene sets the whole thing up: John Hamm states: "Maverick is no longer your instructor…and as of today the mission parameters have changed….". Then, looks of consternation as he describes the new parameters (pilots look shocked). Then…bleep…bleep…bleep (F-18 Single enters the range). John Hamm: "Who the hell is that??!!" And wham – there you are, on the range, entering Alpha One, confirming Green Range.
This movie has certainly given everyone a much-needed burst of optimistic energy in an otherwise depressing time.
You people know that Tom Cris….Crus….Tom is not actually piloting that military jet right? I'm getting really tired of the hype about that freaking movie geez!! It's only huge because it is starring at Tom cruise. That's all. Would it be the same if Maverick was played by Gerard butler or Ryan Reynolds? What if it was only called Top Gun 2, not "Maverick", would it have the same hype? Nope!!! Tom Cruise is what makes it awesome right? Pfft 😔😔😔

Liked the opening sequences of this film a lot. Practically had me in tears. The end though, was to much of a stretch for me for credibility. A super, duper, of a dangerous mission. Yet everyone comes back alive, and those shot down, escape captivity. Combat usually has casualties in those situations. That's just life in the big city of warfare.
