Interesting to see it performed in Japanese ! I have seen clips of the Broadway production. This is a story with universal appeal. That woman has a really good voice too.
She does have a powerful voice and stage presence. I really have enjoyed the clips I have seen from this production, they are so well cast. This was and still is quite my favorite book, that they made it into a musical made me happy, that I can find it in other languages just makes me giddy with delight. Thank you so much for posting these.

Her name is Matsu Takako, one of the most famous/celebrated Japanese actresses of the past 15 years.
Yeah she's good, and has a very expressive face too. It's wonderful to see other cultures appreciating the story too.

名曲ぞろいなのになんで再演しないんだろう。。でも松さんと橋本さんの組み合わせを超えるのは相当難易度高そう。。
ちっさい体でこの声量。背中にマイクが付いてる!? って思うぐらい。まだ舞台を観ていない人。絶対に観るべき。私の周りにはお芝居やミュージカルをバカにする人ばかりだけど、この感動を知らないほうが寂しく感じる。感じ方は人それぞれ。だけど一度 生を感じてほしい
