Those images were made by prof. Nozomu Yoshida, teacher and researcher at the Tohoku Gakuin University. He gave me the autorization to publish this video (I made it by compiling the native format of the ones he published on its own website, because they were not easy to watch), and I want to thank him a lot for that. I am french, I am just someone who is very sad about what happened to Japan.

You can check the original full story and the original videos on this page :

I could not use all text and photos of the web site, because of the 15 mn limit of YouTube, I encourage you to read the full story.

  3. I guess that poor man on the car did not make it. This was so tragic and even having another earth quake in 2022 thank goodness there was no Tsunami.

  6. Japan makes everything else where are there floating Houses and cars. Sit in the cars while the tsunami consumes you instead of going in a building, wow unbelievable

  7. I am a high school student in Japan!
I lost my kindergarten graduation ceremony at the time, but my house was only slightly cracked by a kokeshi falling on my house. I remember the news of the tsunami was on every day. Every year at elementary school, we observed a moment of silence on March 11.
In Japan today, this disaster has led to the reporting of "no tsunami concerns" along with earthquake bulletins. I know that people overseas are afraid of earthquakes in Japan, but if you think only about earthquakes, Japan is mostly safe. Almost no one cares if the seismic intensity is up to 4. We have the best earthquake-proof technology! Please come to Japan with peace of mind. But don't forget to check the disaster map just in case!

  9. I think I'm correct here the Japanese authorities gave multible Warnings long before the ocean came in. So anyone still driving on the streets that got caught in the flood waters. It was there own fault.. But if you can't get out of your car and go to the top of a sturdy structure. Then your just stupid

  10. Why didn't the guy in the car get out sooner and go up to the pedestrian bridge with you guys?

  11. awesome video..thanks for the share…glad you made it to high ground…. but you may wanna add a prerequisite to description… "..speed readers only.." lol. great video though..
