京都嵐山のしだれ桜めぐりとともにその他の桜の開花状況を見てきました。しだれ桜はどこも満開、ソメイヨシノも週末には満開になるのではないでしょうか。
渡月橋の周辺公園には前回紹介した円山公園の姉妹桜が植えられています。
天龍寺は秘密の花園のよう、常寂光寺も宝厳院も紅葉のお寺として人気ですが、しだれ桜も見事でしたよ。
亀山公園展望台では、下をみると全くでしたが、千光寺の左手あたりに山桜が満開。もうすぐ嵐山全体がこんな風になるのだと思うと楽しみですね。
We have seen other cherry blossoms in bloom as well as the weeping cherry blossom tour in Arashiyama, Kyoto. The weeping cherry trees are all in full bloom, and someiyoshino cherry trees will probably be in full bloom by the weekend.
In the park around Togetsukyo Bridge, sister cherry trees of Maruyama Park introduced in the previous issue are planted.
Tenryuji Temple is like a secret garden, and both Jojakkoji Temple and Hogonin Temple are popular for their autumn leaves, but the weeping cherry trees were also magnificent.
At the Kameyama Park observatory, the mountain cherry blossoms were in full bloom on the left side of Senkoji Temple, although they were completely absent when I looked down. I am looking forward to seeing the whole Arashiyama area like this soon.
