横浜開港祭のあゆみ
横浜開港祭は、1981年に「国際デープレ横浜どんたく」として開催されたのが始まりで、翌1982年に「’82国際デー第1回横浜どんたく」として正式に始まりました。
1984年の第3回より「横浜どんたく」となり、1993年の第12回より「横浜どんたく開港祭」、1995年より「横浜開港祭」となり、2021年度第40回を迎えるに至りました。
横浜開港祭は、例年、港に感謝し、市民と共に横浜の開港記念日である6月2日を祝い、賑わいのある様々な催しを実施し、まちづくりと観光の活性化を図るために開催される”市民祭”です。

The Yokohama Port Festival began in 1981 as “International Day Pre-Yokohama Dontaku” and officially started in 1982 as “’82 International Day 1st Yokohama Dontaku”.
It became “Yokohama Dontaku” from the 3rd in 1984, “Yokohama Dontaku Opening Festival” from the 12th in 1993, and “Yokohama Port Opening Festival” from 1995, and reached the 40th in 2021.
The Yokohama Port Festival is held every year to thank the port, celebrate the opening day of Yokohama with the citizens on June 2, and hold various lively events to revitalize town development and tourism. It is a “citizen festival”.
