Small details in the animation makes this song so much better than it already is, I saw a bunch of people pointing out some of them so I won't repeat them here, one I haven't seen though is that at the end of the song when he throws the apple in the bin, there is only 1 bite.

I feel like the lyrical ego in this song keeps “reincarnating” into lives where they are some ideal of a protagonist because they think their own life is boring and drab, so excitement must be what they’d want. In reality, throughout their lives they all failed in some way by a lack of healthy interaction with those around them (sacrificing them, being misunderstood by them, being unloved by them etc.) which mirrors what they are probably experiencing in real life (to a less extreme degree).
So it feels like they’re attributing their own lack of fulfilment to the “boredom” of their reality, not realising until the end that it might just be because their (social) environment is mirroring the same apathy that they’re showing it so that they’ll never receive any reciprocation of their unspoken cry for attention and unconditional companionship.
Their cycles of reincarnation might be a subconscious materialisation of their dilemma.

色んなドラマチックな人生を痛烈に否定した末のメッセージ「お前はお前だからしょうがない、割り切って生きろ」なのほんまイケメンすぎる。

気付いた方もいるかもしれませんが、よく見ると最後に捨てられた林檎は一口齧られています。
いろんな世界の天才たちを味わった結果、今の味気ないようにも感じる人生に「転生」したままでいるのかもしれませんね。
でもそうしたら「自分」も誰かが「転生」してるってことだから、本当に彼は「自分」を取り戻せたのでしょうか？
全世界で賞賛される程の才能や世紀の大発明をして頭がいいことを証明しているのに生まれ変わって転生する理由が「才能がないから」とか「頭悪いから」とか言ってるあたりどの器で転生しても自分を過小評価して、自分からもっともっとって欲張ってるのかなって思った。(小並感)

I really just wanted to point out that the protagonist is in the hanged man's tarot card position at 0:53, a card symbolising endings, sacrifice and rebirth
*the meanings are a lot more complex when you factor in upright and reversed cards (both of which are relevant to this song) and it even inverts the camera before transitioning, implying the main character is clinging to their ego

I already love this song, there's so many little details and cool references in there, holy moly… and also, I like how I can't tell if the main character is a boy or a girl (it probably was intentional, so I find it pretty cool!)
