６月１９日(金)「トヨタジュニアゴルフワールドカップ2015 Supported by JAL」の競技最終日が行われました。
出場チームは、男子が、ノルウェー・スウェーデン・イタリア・スコットランド・南アフリカ・ジンバブエ・日本・韓国・中国・ニュージーランド・カナダ・アメリカ・メキシコ・ブラジル・チリの１５カ国。
女子は、フランス・南アフリカ・日本・韓国・ニュージーランド・アメリカ・メキシコ・コロンビアの８カ国。
大会最終日、雨を吹き飛ばすような熱戦でした。
男子は、通算２５アンダーと大きくスコアを伸ばした日本が、逆転優勝！
個人部門でも、岡崎錬選手が優勝に輝きました！
一方女子は、初日から首位を譲らなかった日本が、通算１２アンダーで初代女王の座を手にしました！
個人部門では、韓国のジョ ヒョンギョン選手と日本の松原由美選手が、同時優勝を果たしました。
本大会は、６月１６日（火）～１９日（金）の４日間、愛知県豊田市中京ゴルフ倶楽部石野コースで開催！
ここで活躍した選手達が、近い将来、世界を舞台に更なる飛躍を遂げるはずです！！

“Final Round Highlights at ‘Toyota Junior Golf World Cup 2015 by JAL’”
The final round of “Toyota Junior Golf World Cup 2015 by JAL” was kicked off on Friday, June 19th.
Participants are as follows.
Boys teams(15 countries): Norway, Sweden, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Japan, Korea, China, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Chile
Girls teams(8 countries): France, South Africa, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, the USA, Mexico and Columbia
It looked like junior players’ hot plays drove away rain on the day of final round.
Boys Japan won a come-from-behind victory with an overall score of 25 under!
Ren Okazaki won first prize in the individual category.
In the Girls category, Japan became the first queen of “Toyota Junior Golf World Cup”. The team had a large lead over the other national teams from the opening day and earned first triumph with an overall score of 12-under.
In Girls individual category, Jo Hyunkyung of Korea and Yumi Matsubara of Japan were tied for first place.
The event was held for four days from June 16th(Tue) – 19th(Fri) at Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course in Toyota-city, Aichi-prefecture, Japan.
We are sure that the junior players who performed in this event will leap further, and it may not be so far away to see them as world-class pro golfers!!
