Noh (能) is a form of classical Japanese theatre involving music , dance and drama from the 14th century. The word Noh derived from the Sino-Japanese word for “skill” or “talent”. In Noh, stories are usually poetic with monotonous tone, while the costumes are rich and heavy. All performers in Noh are male.
