Boxing: Indian Female boxers are on a roll as each of them continue to impress the fans with their skills. Indian boxer Pooja Rani has entered the quarter finals of the 75Kg category in tokyo 2020. The reigning Asian champion, defeated Algeria’s Ichrak Chaib by unanimous decision. She won this match 5-0. 30 year old from Haryana has twice won the Asian Championship gold medal. The world No. 8 Pooja Rani will now face two-time Asian champion Li Qian of China who is also a Rio 2016 bronze medallist and the 2018 world champion. MC Mary Kom and Lovlina Borgohain are the other two Indian boxers who have also won their first round bouts.
