［ワシントン １７日 ロイター］ – 米国土安全保障省（ＤＨＳ）のトリシア・マクラフリン報道官が、同省を去ることが分かった。トランプ政権の当局者２人がロイターに明らかにした。トランプ大統領の移民取り締まり強化に対する国民の支持率が低下する中での動きとなる。
同当局者は、マクラフリン氏の今後の動向については明らかにしていない。マクラフリン氏はトランプ大統領の強硬な移民政策を支持してきた。
ＤＨＳを巡っては、ミネソタ州ミネアポリスで抗議活動中の米国市民が米移民・税関捜査局（ＩＣＥ）職員に射殺された事件などを受け、厳しい批判にさらされている。
ＤＨＳとマクラフリン氏はコメント要請にすぐには応じなかった。
