ＧＭ、ＳＵＶ「ビュイック」の生産を中国から米国に移転へ | ロイター

[２２日　ロイター] – 米自動車大手ゼネラル・モーターズ（ＧＭ）(GM.N), opens new tabは２２日、中国で生産しているＳＵＶ（スポーツタイプ多目的車）「ビュイック」を米国内での生産に切り替える方針を発表した。トランプ政権の関税措置を受けて米国工場の稼働拡大を図る。
ＧＭは２０１７年から米国に輸出してきた中型ＳＵＶ「ビュイック・エンビジョン」の中国生産を終了する。次世代のモデルを２８年から中西部ミズーリ州カンザスシティー地域の組立工場で生産する計画だ。
ＧＭはロイター宛ての声明で「今回の決定はＧＭの米国内生産をさらに強化し、米国内の雇用創出に寄与する」と述べた。
同社は昨年、ＳＵＶ「シボレー・エクイノックス」の生産をメキシコ工場からカンザスシティー工場に移転すると発表していた。同工場では最近、限定生産の完全電気自動車（ＥＶ）「シボレー・ボルト」の生産を開始した。
ボルトの生産終了後、同工場を内燃エンジン車専用に改修するという。
また２７年にはメキシコで生産中のＳＵＶ「シボレー・ブレイザー」も南部テネシー州スプリングヒル工場での生産に切り替える。
