［メキシコ市　９日　ロイター］ – メキシコのシェインバウム大統領は朝の定例記者会見で、メキシコ当局は９日に米国当局と両国の水資源に関連して会談を行う予定だと明らかにした。

トランプ米大統領は８日、メキシコが水資源を共有する条約に違反しているとして、５％の追加関税を課すと警告した。

シェインバウム氏らは、ロリンズ農務長官を含む米政府高官とオンラインで会談する。

シェインバウム氏は、メキシコ自身のニーズとパイプラインの物理的なサイズの問題があり、水供給を拡大するには限界があるとしつつ、この紛争の解決を期待していると述べた。
