［ブリュッセル １０日 ロイター］ – プラットフォーム企業のメタ・プラットフォームズ(META.O), opens new tabとＴｉｋＴｏｋ（ティックトック）は１０日、欧州連合（ＥＵ）のデジタルサービス法（ＤＳＡ）で定めるプラットフォーム企業への監督手数料賦課に異議を申し立てた裁判で勝訴した。
ＤＳＡでは、ＥＵ欧州委員会による法順守監督の費用として、プラットフォーム企業が年間世界純収益の０．０５％を納めることになっている。メタとＴｉｋＴｏｋは、月間平均アクティブユーザー数と前会計年度の損益に連動する年間手数料の算出方法に欠陥があり、不釣り合いな手数料が発生していると主張していた。
ルクセンブルクの一般裁判所は２社の主張を認め、ＥＵ当局に対し１２カ月かけて別の法規則を用いて算出方法を修正するよう命じた。新たな新たな法的根拠を提示する間、企業が支払った２０２３年分の手数料を返済する必要はないとした。
