　予告では、麻薬取締局の捜査官ジョン（ルーク・エヴァンス）が、突然与えられた休暇の“週末”を利用して台北へ飛び、勝手に捜査を続行する姿が描かれる。ジョンは、麻薬密売を牛耳る億万長者クワン（サン・カン）の罪を暴くべく、クワンの帳簿データを持つという匿名メールの差出人を追って台北へ。

　その送り主はクワンの養子レイモンドで、その母親は十数年前、台北でジョンが恋に落ちた女性ジョーイ（グイ・ルンメイ）だった。スクリーンを駆け抜けるのは、火花を散らす銃撃戦の数々と元天才トランスポーターであるジョーイが操る光り輝くフェラーリで台北の街を縦横無尽に駆け抜けるド迫力のカーアクション。そして、再燃するジョンとジョーイの想いとそこに割って入る元夫であり台北の裏世界を牛耳るクワン――。

　予想を裏切る展開の連続に、心拍数は加速度的に高まっていく予告編になっている。
