エレクトリから、フランスREVIVAL AUDIO（リバイバルオーディオ）のフラッグシップスピーカー「ATALANTE 7 Évo（以下Evo）」が発売される。価格は￥1,980,000（ペア、税込、スタンド付属）。
ATALANTE 7 Evoは、ATALANTEシリーズの伝統を受け継ぎながら、RASC EvoツイーターやアップグレードされたRASC Evoミッドレンジ、そして同ブランド初となる38cm BSC（Basalt Sandwich Construction＝玄武岩繊維サンドイッチ構造）ウーファーを採用しており、音楽再生の世界を次のレベルへと引き上げ、新たな基準を打ち立てるモデルだ。
エボニー仕上げ
エレガンスとエンジニアリングの調和を体現したデザインは、パリのデザインスタジオA+A Cooren Studioとのコラボレーションによって誕生した。洗練されたプロポーションや彫刻のようなライン、上質な素材の組み合わせにより、単なるスピーカーを超えた芸術的な存在へと昇華させているという。本体仕上げはウォルナットとエボニーを揃える。
搭載されたドライバーは、すべて独自のARID（Anti Resonance Inner Dome）テクノロジーを採用。ユニットのドーム内側の空間では、ドームの挙動を変化させる定在波が発生する。ARIDテクノロジーはこの定在波を拡散させて、不要な音波をバックチャンバーへ導いて適切に吸収してくれるものだ。
高域用の28mmソフトドーム型ツィーターもARIDテクノロジーを内蔵、特殊なバックチャンバー設計により97％以上の共振を吸収している。ネオジム磁石による制動と、テトロンドームによる自然な再生音、アルミニウム製のボイスコイルとバックチャンバーがディティイル再生性を向上させる。
75mmドーム型ミッドレンジは、ネオジム磁石を使ったダブルサスペンション構造を採用。進化したARID+テクノロジーも搭載され、96%以上の内部共鳴を吸収している。冷却効率・応答性能・気流に配慮した設計を施し、ストレスのない再生音を提供する。
38cm BSCウーファーは、玄武岩を素材として採用したサンドイッチ構造の振動板を採用し、強度とダンピング性能に優れた性能を実現。38cm大口径振動板に加え、10mmの振幅幅を持つボイスコイルにより、23Hzまでの低域再生が可能とのことだ。最適化された冷却設計も施し、過熱を防ぎ確実な動作を実現している。
本体上部に搭載されるバスレフポートは、AeroVexアルミニウムフランジを備える。数百時間にわたるシミュレーションを重ねて開発された独自のパターンを持ち、乱流を抑えるとともに、ポートノイズを94％以上低減する。これにより、滑らかな空気の流れを促し、歪みのない豊かな低音を実現している。
付属スタンドとスピーカーキャビネットの間にはデカップリングスパイクが配置され、スピーカーをスタンドから完全に分離、振動の伝達を最小限に抑えて、音の明瞭さと細部の再現性を保っている。スタンド自体も水平の微調整が可能で、堅牢で振動を遮断する構造を備えている。
内部配線にはVan den HulのThe Skylineを採用することで、音のクリアーさと忠実性を維持し、純粋な音楽体験を提供してくれる。クロスオーバーネットワークは、最適なドライバーの統合性のために細心の注意を払って調整されており、完璧にバランスの取れた音響特性を実現している。
