[１７日 ロイター] – 米大手銀行ウェルズ・ファーゴ(WFC.N), opens new tabは、従業員が中国からの出国を禁止されたことを受け、同国への渡航を全面的に停止した。関係者が１７日、ロイターに明らかにした。
米紙ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナル（ＷＳＪ）が関係者の話として報じたところによると、出国を禁止されたのは同行のチェンユエ・マオ氏で、ここ数週間に中国に入国していた。
ウェルズ・ファーゴはロイターに宛てた電子メールの声明で、「われわれはこの状況を注視しており、従業員が可能な限り早期に米国に戻れるよう、適切なルートを通じて対応している」と述べた。
トランプ政権の高官は、マオ氏の中国出国禁止報道について、プライバシーへの配慮を理由にコメントできないと述べた。
ＦＣＩの６月のリリースによると、マオ氏は上海出身で米アトランタ在勤。ＦＣＩは貿易債権のファクタリングとファイナンスを行う企業のグローバルネットワークで、マオ氏は会長を務めている。
