[ニューヨーク １５日 ロイター] – 米大手銀行の経営幹部らは、トランプ大統領の関税政策が市場を動揺させた後でも、消費者の状態は引き続き良好との認識を示した。ただ、今後は軟化する可能性があるとも警告している。

ウェルズ・ファーゴのチャーリー・シャーフ最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ）はアナリストに対し「失業率が低水準で推移し、インフレが抑制されていることから、消費者と企業は好調を維持している。クレジットカード消費の伸びは第２・四半期に非常に小幅に軟化したものの、前年比ではなお上昇している」と語った。
こうした中、経営幹部らは関税の影響について懸念も表明した。
