米ＧＭ、米国から中国への車両輸出停止へ

[デトロイト　１９日　ロイター] – 米自動車大手ゼネラル・モーターズ（ＧＭ）(GM.N), opens new tabは中国向け輸出事業に関わる従業員とディーラーに先週、米国から中国への車両の出荷を停止すると通知したことを明らかにした。米中が関税やその他の通商問題で協議を続けていることが背景にある。

ＧＭ広報担当によると、同社は高級輸入車直販事業「デュラント・ギルド」を通じて米国から中国へ車両を輸出していたが、これはＧＭの中国販売台数のうち、０．１％未満というわずかな割合にとどまっていた。

広報担当は発表文の中で「経済環境の著しい変化により、デュラント・ギルドの事業構造を見直し、それに応じて当社の各種の中国事業を最適化することを決めた」と説明した。
