[ロサンゼルス／香港 １６日 ロイター] – 米中の９０日間の関税引き下げ合意を受け、中国製品を米国に運ぶ貨物船に予約が殺到していることが分かった。海運業者が明らかにした。中国の港や工場では貨物車両の渋滞が発生しており、解消には数週間かかる恐れがあるという。
米国の運動靴や家具、建設用品、自動車部品の輸入業者は、関税再開前に商品を入手しようと急いでいる。
米国向け中国製品の輸出の４分の１超を扱う深センの塩田港など主要コンテナ港には貨物が殺到。港では船主が係留所の予約や輸送スケジュールの調整を急いでいる。
ドイツ海運大手ハパックロイド(HLAG.DE), opens new tabの広報担当者はロイターに「需要が非常に多く、長期契約の顧客しか対応できない」と説明した。場当たり的な発注に対応する余裕はほぼないという。
貨物追跡サイトを提供する米物流管理会社ビジョンによると、１４日までの１週間の貨物の予約数は２万１５３０個（２０フィート標準コンテナ換算）と、前週比２７７％増加した。 深センの物流業者は「米国に出荷するために大量の貨物を準備している」と語った。
