マイクロソフト、ＥＵ制裁金回避の公算　抱き合わせ販売巡り＝関係筋

[ブリュッセル１４日ロイター] – 米マイクロソフト(MSFT.O), opens new tabは対話アプリと業務ソフトの抱き合わせ販売を巡る問題で、欧州連合（ＥＵ）の反トラスト法当局による多額の制裁金を回避できる見通しだと関係者が１４日明らかにした。ＥＵが会社側の提案を受け入れる可能性が高いという。米セールスフォース(CRM.N), opens new tab傘下のスラックは２０２０年、マイクロソフトが対話アプリ「Ｔｅａｍｓ（チームズ）」と業務ソフト「Ｏｆｆｉｃｅ（オフィス）」を抱き合わせることで不当に優位に立っているとして、欧州委員会に苦情を申し立てた。

マイクロソフトは２３年、チームズなしのオフィスをチームズ付きの場合より２ユーロ（２．２４ドル）安く販売し、チームズ単体を月額５ユーロで販売する対応を取った。ただ、競合がこの対応は不十分と指摘したため、今年２月に価格差を拡大した。

関係筋によると、欧州委は最終決定を下す前に、今後数カ月間で競合他社や顧客のフィードバックを求める可能性が高い。マイクロソフトの提案には、他社が競争しやすくなるよう、より良い相互運用性に関する条件が含まれているという。

トランプ米大統領は米企業にペナルティーを科す国に対して関税を課すと警告している。
