[ベンガルール　２５日 ロイター] – アップル(AAPL.O), opens new tabは米国向け全「ｉＰｈｏｎｅ（アイフォーン）」の組み立てを、２０２６年末までにインドに移すことを計画している。関係筋がロイターに明らかにした。

米中貿易戦争の影響により、ｉＰｈｏｎｅの生産拠点を中国から移転する計画を加速させる。

関係筋によると、アップルはｉＰｈｏｎｅの組み立てを請け負っている台湾・鴻海精密工業傘下の富士康科技集団（フォックスコン）やタタと協議を行っているという。

アップルとフォックスコン、タタのコメントは得られていない。

アップルは米国で年間６０００万台以上のｉＰｈｏｎｅを販売しており、その約８０％は現在中国で製造されている。

インドのモディ首相は近年、同国をスマートフォン製造のハブとする計画を推進しているが、他の多くの国に比べて携帯電話部品の輸入関税が高い。ｉＰｈｏｎｅの場合、インドでの製造コストは中国よりも５─８％、場合によっては１０％も高いという。
