[ニューデリー１０日ロイター] – インド政府高官は１０日、米国との貿易協定締結を迅速に進めたいと述べた。

トランプ米大統領は９日、貿易相手国に対する相互関税について、国・地域ごとに設定した上乗せ部分を９０日間停止すると発表。対中追加関税は引き上げた。

両国は２月、貿易協定の第１段階を今年後半に締結することで合意。２０３０年までに２国間の貿易総額を５０００億ドルに拡大することを視野に入れている。もっと見る

同高官は「インドは米国との協定に関する協議を開始し、締結期限に合意した最初の国の１つだ」と発言。

また、中国製品を含め、ダンピング（不当廉売）がないか輸入品の監視を強化すると述べた。

インド商工相は今週、ニューデリーで開催されたイベントで、インドと米国の製造業者が長年にわたり中国の不公正な貿易慣行に苦しんでいると指摘した。
