[ロンドン １６日 ロイター] – 複数の関係者がロイターに語ったところによると、イタリア金融大手ウニクレディト(CRDI.MI), opens new tabは、欧州中央銀行（ＥＣＢ）の指示に従ってロシア事業を直ちに縮小する必要があるかどうかを見極めるため、裁判所の判決を引き続き待っている。
ウニクレディトは約４カ月前、ＥＣＢの事業縮小指示に対する異議を欧州連合（ＥＵ）の一般裁判所に申し立てた。７月には「この先数カ月で」判決が出るとの見解を表明し、ロシア事業を２０２５年に縮小する目標を改めて示した。
ウニクレディトは現在、ドイツのコメルツ銀行(CBKG.DE), opens new tabの買収に向けてＥＣＢの承認を求めている。ＥＣＢは買い手の資金力や訴訟を含めた評価などの基準で銀行買収を審査するが、マネーロンダリング（資金洗浄）やテロ資金調達のリスクが高まるかどうかも精査する見込みだ。
