マスク氏の人工知能会社、Ｘを330億ドルで買収　ＡＩモデル強化へ

[２８日ロイター] – 米実業家イーロン・マスク氏は２８日、自身の人工知能（ＡＩ）会社「ｘＡＩ」が短文投稿サイトのＸを３３０億ドルで買収したと明らかにした。

マスク氏によると、Ｘの企業価値は負債１２０億ドルを含め４５０億ドル。全額株式による買収で、これによりＡＩモデル「Ｇｒｏｋ（グロック）」の学習がさらに強化される可能性がある。

マスク氏はＸへの投稿で、買収でｘＡＩの企業価値が８００億ドルになるとし、「ｘＡＩとＸの未来は絡み合っている」などと述べた。

両社の広報担当者はコメント要請に応じていないが、投資家への補償、規制当局による調査の見通しなどは明らかになっていない。

マスク氏率いる投資家連合は２月、「チャットＧＰＴ」を手がける米オープンＡＩを統括する非営利組織を９７４億ドルで買収することを提案したが、拒否された。

ｘＡＩは２月に最新ＡＩモデル「Ｇｒｏｋ─３」を発表し、米マイクロソフトが出資するオープンＡＩや中国ＡＩ企業「ディープシーク」などに対抗している。
