5 years since WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic

Five years ago Tuesday, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic. Dr. Bob Lahita, director of the St. Joseph’s Institute for Autoimmune and Rheumatic Disease, joined CBS News to discuss the virus and the five years since its emergence.

  1. So strange that the legacy media would even bring up this anniversary. They were such a very large part of the spread of "information" from the official sources. They should be ashamed of their participation in this chapter of our history.

  3. Great reminder. People want to pretend like the year 2020 didn't happen, like the 13th floor of a hotel building. Trump absolutely mishandled the COVID pandemic.

  4. When is Fauci going to get arrested for his connection to gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

  5. Those were unbelievable times! We'll never forget it. There's always one moment in time which that generation will forever reference. Like "Where were you" during the Kennedy assassination, or when the Space Shuttle exploded, or when 9/11 happened. The COVID shutdown – and everyone wearing masks – is the latest one…

    (It also marks the beginning of the misusage of the word "unprecedented" all day every day)
